CEOA is pleased to provide this Newsblog as a facility to keep you informed of current and upcoming activities of the campaign organization. News will be posted as it becomes known and you will have the opportunity to post your comments or suggestions in response.
We are happy to announce the recent formation of our CEOA Executive Committee. The initial members are Butch Thompson, Tripper Sharp, Jon Anderson and David Welden. Bo Pounds and Pitts Carr have agreed to serve as advisers to the committee. The committee will be responsible for a variety of leadership duties including CEOA policies, strategies, relationships, candidate endorsements and campaign committee appointments. Other members will assist these leaders as needed for administration of the LLC.
I also want to call your attention to our "Objectives Statement" displayed in the heading, above. I have been told to expect unwavering adherence to the statement unless it is changed by the Executive Committee. Hopefully all members will find it easy to comply with.
